Route 66 Adventure Ends
Day 7 Afternoon
Santa Monica Pier
We finally made it. It took 3 different trips to finish Route
66. We did the 1st leg Memorial Day weekend of 2012, from
Chicago to Vinita, OK. The 2nd leg Labor Day weekend 2012
from Vinita, OK to Tucumcari, NM. And this last leg from Tucumcari,
NM to Santa Monica Pier in CA.
What a fun time we have had. I could start again and do it all
over. There is so much we weren't able to see. To do it right a
person would need a couple months. Ahhh now that would be
delightful.
Here we are at the End of the Route. Santa Monica Pier. We
parked and enjoyed the pier. It was fun and the weather was
fantastic.
It's a long ramp down!!
Did some souvenir shopping.

Santa Monica has a nice park right before the pier. We enjoyed it.
