Route 66 Adventure Continues
Day 7 Rancho Cucamonga, CA
McDonalds
Dennis and I were up and ready to finish our Route 66 journey but 1st I needed some tea and a bit to eat. We headed West on Route 66 and spotted a McDonalds. Since I am fond of their $1 ice tea we decided to stop for a quick, cheap breakfast. Were we ever surprised by this McDonalds. I have never seen or heard of a McDonalds all done in Route 66. I loved it.This McDonalds is located at 11198 E Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA you need to check it out when you are in the area.
These were covering all the backs at the booths.
All the stools were covered like this.
They had a mural that went all the way across the restaurant. Some of the mural parts I got a better shot than others but I tried to photograph the whole thing.
The beginning of Route 66 in Chicago.
The end of Route 66. Yeah!!
They had a picture of the Gemini Giant from Illinois on the wall.
Even the emergency door was painted Route 66 style.
And to think I didn't get pictures of everything 66.
I will continue our trip west to Santa Monica Pier in the next blog.
Until next time -
Have the BEST day EVER!
