Day 2 of my Adventure was an extremely windy day.
I went back to Honor Heights Park and took more pictures but the tulips were dancing all over the place which made it harder for me to capture.
I had a beautiful butterfly fly onto the azaleas right when I was snapping a picture. I continued to follow him and got many pictures. Here are 2 of them.
I still can't get over the beauty I saw there.
It is definitely a place to visit. Muskogee, OK, just about 30 minutes or less east of Tulsa.
I know I will be back here in the future. Hopefully next spring I will
be able to catch the beauty of the azaleas and the tulips. I think April is the best month to catch them, plus during the month they have a festival on weekends.
I have loved eagles ever since our family lived in Adak, Alaska. My son Jay loved and studied eagles. We even went on a bird count and counted the eagles. Consequently, when I see an eagle statue I am drawn back into that time period. This was a beautiful eagle statue.
Have an awesome day,
Charyl
